A CALL ON THE YOUTHS FOR PREPARATION by Banji Joel Celebrating the court victory of Sowore today is just the stepping stone to greater things, democracy and better Nigeria. But in the mood of celebration I quickly want to make it known that no one can fight a battle and win without being properly prepared for the battle. Many youths are shouting, complaining and fighting for a better Nigeria but are the youths prepared to take over?? Preparation entails all aspects including intellectual, material, financial, education, religious and psychological preparation. Omoyele Sowore today has influenced many people because he has all I have mentioned above, the psychological preparation was what made him not to break during his past arrests and the arrest by THE DSS and also that is what has been keeping him strong and going all these periods. #Seeing_Beyond_the_Government Just thinking about the happenings in the country and I feel I should write about we can impacting our environment as individuals. Many times, when things are bad or wrong around us, we wait for the Government to do it for us and knowing that it might not be done in 10years (simply put we have no functioning or active Government in the country). Below are some rhetorical questions, pointing out some of the things we do as individuals which is not directly related to the Government.
