Growth measurement differ in many ways, while some measure it based on achievement, some do that measurement based of the number of years used, in other words, numerical growth. Our achievements over the years as an independent nation has been based on our population and the number of years post independence, what else has been the achievements? Not going too far, our achievements could be seen ironically in the value of our currency, our growing economy, our improved standard of living, improved infrastructure, reduced poverty and security etc. Apparently, all these all lacking in this sovereign nation called Nigeria. Independence day has always come up with match which has been leading the masses to hardship and economy retrogression, we physically match forward in celebration but the kind of leadership we have been having over the years has literally been pulling the country back economically and other ways.  Since we have been matching, it could be said that the country has bee...

LEADERSHIP IS NOT FOR THE WEAK by Olabanji Joel

Around this time last year, things were still better than it is today but I asked a question which Buharists said I shouldn't have asked but I am here again today to ask in a slightly different way so that those who said I shouldn't have spoken the manner I did can come out to tell us what good Buhari's regime has done for the country. "A MAN WHO CAN'T MANAGE HIS HOME WELL SHOULDN'T BE TRUSTED WITH THE AFFAIRS OF THE COUNTRY FOR SUCH PERSON WILL END UP CAUSING CHAOS AND HARDSHIP" . Please is this statement wrong? I SEE IRRESPONSIBILITY FROM FAILED LEADERS; NEED TO MATCH AGAINST THE OPPRESSORS. By Olabanji Joel

Goodluck Ebele Jonathan didn't do as much as this before the mass protest that took place in his time, so what has kept us from doing the same now? They just increased the fuel pump price, the food is unbearably high, electricity tariff increased, value added tax increased, transport fare increased, high rate of unemployment, increased poverty rate, high rate of insecurity, corruption at its peak, debt is driving the country into another form of slavery, irresponsibility from our government officials, getting loans for looting, national assembly members feeding fat on the masses money, health care system is collapsing and the government claim of integrity has been revealed to the word to be rag filled with impunity.  HOW LONG SHALL WE CONTINUE WITH THIS? WHEN ARE WE GENUINELY TAKING OVER THE CITIES AGAIN? WHEN ARE WE GOING TO COME OUT AS ONE AGAINST OUR OPPRESSORS? WHAT EXCUSE DO WE HAVE NOT TO PROTEST? WHAT CAN THE BUHARIST SAY ABOUT THIER WORKING PRESIDENT? WHEN ARE THE BUHARIST ...
