The_Nurse Many people have met with various Nurses and thus various impressions have been made about who and what Nurses are but I tell you Nurses are special kind of people Nursing in one word is Caring A mother is always asked to #Nurse a child properly, meaning #Care for the child properly. The first person to receive an individual into this world after birth is a Nurse and the last person to care for an individual is still a Nurse. So tell me what is an individual without a Nurse?? No health sector can function without a Nurse and this makes Nursing the #Heart of health care. Many people get wrong the duties of Nurses, even some health workers don't know the actual duties of Nurses. Nurses are not Doctors Assistant nor Juniors to Doctors, Nurses are Nurses who knows reasons for all the actions they take, so Nurses are Professionals in the health sector who work together with other health workers in caring for a patient. The personality of various Nurses differ such as you will meet in all vocations, jobs, and professions therefore whatsoever bad you think about Nurses, it's never related to the profession, it's the personality of the individual. In Nursing, various wonderful things are being learnt so as to alleviate suffering/cope with disabilities, promote health, prevent illness and curing of illnesses. Nursing is dope Nursing is not about the money, the money can't even be compared with the work load and actual Nursing training and duties, Nursing sacrificial, Nursing is caring, Nursing is demanding. If you think Nursing is nothing then put in to study Nursing and see how it is. In my three years of marriage and what I have seen of marriages around me, I have come to realize that every day is an opportunity to celebrate love, foster understanding, practice forgiveness, and make sacrifices. Contrary to the notion that all you need for a successful marriage is love, I have learned that it takes intentional effort and investment from both partners. Sacrifices and forgiveness are just as crucial as love in making a marriage last, peaceful, and happy. Marriage is often romanticized, but the reality is that it requires hard work and dedication, which many marriage speakers tend not to speak about. Love alone isn't enough; financial stability also plays a significant role in strengthening the bond in marriage. PRIORITIZING WHAT MATTERS by Olabanji Joel Orolugbagbe

Yesterday, I discharged a very demanding patient home. As she was about to leave the ward with her daughter, she called me over for a hug and expressed her gratitude. She told her daughter that I was a good nurse and was happy that I was part of her care team throughout her hospital stay. This gesture hit me differently, and it motivated me to do even more for my patients. As an adult with family responsibilities, I have come to realize that my profession is not just a job but a source of sustenance. I have learned to prioritize my role as a nurse above every thing I was actively doing before having a family, and the appreciation from patients like this one means a lot to me. Recently, I had a conversation with my cousin, and I shared with him that the only thing that can get under my skin is being told I am not good at my job because I see it as a threat to my source of livelihood and if genuinely done, I see it as a push to improve myself.
