Little things make big days Inspired to write when I saw Fatanmi Victor A. (CEO/Co Founder of Fourth Canvas) being invited for a program at the great Channels TV which is the number one TV station in Nigeria. Quote "Little things make big days" isn't just a quote to look away from, things we might have been doing or the little things we might have done at the past will determine what our future will be. I can remember about 10years ago when this young man (Fatanmi Victor) was doing some designs such as crowns, banners, drawings etc during the school's inter house sport, he didn't even know he was going to be known for his designs later in life. He was not the only one making the designs then but think about it, what about others? Some stopped and ventured into something else which they are happy doing now, some gave up on designs, some gave up on life while some are still determined to make it legitimately, even some are not ready to start small anymore but want to make it big #Lolz. Not that it will be smooth all through but there is this quote which states that "Sometimes we’re tested not to show our weaknesses, but to discover our strengths" and these strengths also determines where we will get to in life. If you ask him how he has managed to build his company then you will hear testimonies which will make you cry, no one knew him then but he is known for his wonderful designs now. You know what? "Success is good and it's until you are successful before you can be celebrated" -Banji Joel To some extent Fatanmi Victor is successful but so sure he isn't fulfilled, at an interview with him at sparkling Light Press Group, he said; "Taking Branding to another level in Africa and the world" meaning he is not yet fulfilled, in fact not yet successful until he gets satisfied with his dreams of Building a Global branding firm trusted by leading organisations across the world with a purpose to help visionary businesses build lasting and relevant brands So many people have given up on their dreams because of what they have faced in the process of actualising the dreams, but what makes one a failure is "the inability to rise again after falling", lack of strength, loss of hope and disbelief in one's self. Many people wants to make it, but don't want to small, don't want to fail, don't want disappointment, don't want to be embarrassed, don't want to sacrifice, don't want to struggle, don't want to pray, then how can the success come?? I say such people are not ready to be successful because "success doesn't come easily and the one which is being gotten easily will not be properly maintained as the value won't be known - Banji Joel. Many people miss it because they first run after money without having the actual substance they need to make the money, then when the need for the substance comes they have nothing to offer and thus will not be able to make the money they were after. There's always time to get the substance and prepare so as to get the opportunity to get the money when it comes. Money shouldn't be made the first, it makes one miss all. Money will surely come when one has the substance, the substance will command respect money and opportunities I can remember the period when a group which I was opportune to head while in school invited this great entrepreneur, though the group and the community wasn't big, even money was not given for transport fare even though he traveled from Lagos to Ilesa Osun state, he agreed despite his tight schedule and honoured the invitation and interview.
