When are the leaders of tomorrow going to take the lead by Banji Joel

WHEN ARE THE LEADERS OF TOMORROW GOING TO TAKE THE LEAD AND BE LEADERS?- By Banji Joel. I was in the restroom today when the question above 👆 dropped on my mind, so it was inspired by a deep thought. Please read; It's an obvious thing that there is no retirement and no stepping down in the Politics of Nigeria even when the Rulers are not doing well in their line of duty. Even when the serving ruler finishes his tenure, he becomes a godfather not a mentor to anyone and another old ruler that might be older than the person who left takes over the position again and that's how it has been since independence. Note: In Nigeria there's no leader but ruler in the Government except just few ( 2 in 100). In civil service, once the head retires, the person who is a junior to the person takes over and that is how the junior ones gradually gets to the place of the head with new ideas, intitiatives and advanced prospect which then brings an advancement to the service. But in my country's politics since independence (59 years ago) there has been what is known as recycling of same people, character, intellect, old ideas, old vision, archaic and crude approach to things and archaic principles. My question here is that when are the leaders of tomorrow going to lead?? Some of our parents were called the leaders of tomorrow but where are they now? Now the children again are being called the leaders of tomorrow and I ask myself, the youths and those in authority that when is the tomorrow going to come?? It seems there is no tomorrow as the present rulers are still in the tomorrow ruling. What I know now is that by the time the tomorrow for the present youths (our generation) comes, it wouldn't be a tomorrow again because the tomorrow has bee taken away and used up by the former rulers, it would have been a tomorrow for our own children (the coming generation). WHO ARE THE LEADERS OF TOMORROW AND WHEN IS THE TOMORROW?? THIS IS A CALL TO THE YOUTHS TO WAKE UP AND BE LEADERS NOW. I AM NOT READY TO GIVE MY CHILDREN EXCUSE ON HOW I FAILED BUT READY TO GIVE THEM THE STORY ON HOW I CONTRIBUTED TO THE DEVELOPMENT AND ADVANCEMENT OF MY COUNTRY.
