OUR FUTURE; NEED TO TAKE IT BACK
OUR FUTURE; NEED TO TAKE IT BACK...........
The happenings in this country recently has not been encouraging, sometimes I feel like expressing my mind via write up as usual but mostly I feel very weak to write, the fear of what the future holds for this present and coming generation in this country always disturb my mind.
I am afraid of recolonisation, increased rate of poverty, increased crime rate, drug addicted generation, increased death rate and reduced life expectancy.
My calls have always been on the youths because it's about our future and if we are not ready to take hold of our future and take up the responsibilities of making our future a better one, then time will tell and ask us.
Putting aside the parties "APC and PDP", these parties constitute of same people just jumping around and recycling themselves and still supporting these ones means we are not ready to be responsible for our own development.
One thing that is sure is that, the crime rate and illegal acts can only reduce when the economy of the country becomes better, when unemployment rate drops to the minimal level and when tertiary education is being accessed by many. Looking at the way this country is going now, are we getting there? Are we getting better or are we even there already?
#Note_1: Are we comfortable with our present state?
#Note 2: When there is an opportunity for a youth to lead, are we well prepared
#Note 3: Are we ready to support a responsible and diligent youth who comes out to contest.
#Note 4: Year in year out, the old politicians send their children abroad and use another man's child as political thug and weapon, are we still going to continue in such manner?
#Lastly: Have a deep thought as regards what you were last 5 years, Now and what your tomorrow holds.
I tell you that this present state of Nigeria is "A Dream Killer" and if not careful, the dream will die and the dreamer will die with the dreams not being accomplished.
