THE SITUATIONS IN THE COUNTRY AND THE CALL FOR A REFORM by Banji Joel. Putting together all I have missed while inevitably offline in just a single write up. Note: Operation amotekun will separately be looked into. The good and the bad will be considered and my own decision about the issue will be openly stated. In the normal world under the right minded Government, it is known that law enforcement agencies and their officers are meant to protect and enforce the law but the case has been different under the present administration in Nigeria. Law enforcement agency known as State Secret Service with illegal name "DSS" spare heading the anti law agency and anti human right protection has in many ways preferred the directive of the dictator to that of the law and the constitution they were created and employed to protect. "WHAT A SHAME". The story of the trader "Anthony Okolie" who was arrested, transported, illegally detained and denied of his freedom for 10days due to a SIM card issue that is being related to Buhari's Daughter "Hannah" has really made it known that SSS agency has only been working for those we elected to serve us even at the detriment of those of us who elected them. Also, the arrest of Sheu Sani who has been a voice against this present administration by the EFCC has shown us all that this Government is aimed at silencing all those who rise to speak against their failures. The administration and administrators are tyrants and oppressors. As regards this issue, I advice that the person who gave the money to Sheu Sani to help him bribe the CJN should also be arrested, detained and imprisoned for bribery and corruption. NIGERIA in a SERIOUS MESS increase in Value Added Tax, approval of 37bn for the renovation of the NASS building, proposed increase of electricity tariff etc has publicly established the fact that this present administration led by Gen. Mohamadu Buhari is an irresponsible Government with the sole aim to move all responsibilities of the Government to the citizens who are benefiting nothing or little from the administration. Amidst all issues, Buhari's Daughter (Hannah Buhari) has become more popular as she has been involved in two annoying stories. How would the president approve the Nation's own jet/property to be used for a personal visit? WHO DOES THAT?? The private jet that is being maintained by the tax payers money?? WHAT A LAWLESS COUNTRY. it's not that the country is lawless, it's just about a man who has seen himself above the law and the people of the country - Banji Joel. Increasing rate of insecurity is so alarming. Kidnappings and Bandit attacks are happening on daily basis. Boko Haram and ISWAP are growing, getting better and stronger with international support. HA!!!! What a sovereign country indeed. IS THE COUNTRY SAFE?? ARE WE SAFE ON OUR OWN LAND?? Everyday, the News we receive must come with a sad event and situation. WHY??!! Gen. Buhari has failed us all. The country is retrogressing and becoming unbearable for many, the unemployment rate is on the increase, the rate of the drop out children has increased, the president's children are schooling abroad when our own institutions are falling apart and education becoming inaccessible for the poor, the president goes abroad for medical attention when our own hospitals here are left to struggle and survive on their own, thousands of people are being displaced from their homes, fuel subsidy price increased and oil price also increased, Billions of Naira and Dollars are allegedly being spent on various projects but the outcome is just bad and the result has not impacted to the economy positively. SO WHO IS DECEIVING WHO? Many voted because he was trusted to give all a better country that we deserve but instead, he showed us he has nothing to offer, he has made it even more worse than he met it, HE HAS FAILED US ALL. BUHARI IS A FAILURE!!!!! 2023, is a year for us to decide either the total downfall of Nigeria or the beginning of a New and better Nigeria. it is clearly evident now that the old people has nothing to offer but only propagandas. IF WE REALLY WANT A BETTER COUNTRY, WE MUST BE RESPONSIBLE FOR IT, WE MUST TAKE A BOLD STEP TO PUSH AWAY THE CABALS OF APC and PDP. THE COUNTRY NEEDS REVOLUTION AND REFORM. I am Olabanji Joel...... In my three years of marriage and what I have seen of marriages around me, I have come to realize that every day is an opportunity to celebrate love, foster understanding, practice forgiveness, and make sacrifices. Yesterday, I discharged a very demanding patient home. As she was about to leave the ward with her daughter, she called me over for a hug and expressed her gratitude. She told her daughter that I was a good nurse and was happy that I was part of her care team throughout her hospital stay. This gesture hit me differently, and it motivated me to do even more for my patients. As an adult with family responsibilities, I have come to realize that my profession is not just a job but a source of sustenance. I have learned to prioritize my role as a nurse above every thing I was actively doing before having a family, and the appreciation from patients like this one means a lot to me. Recently, I had a conversation with my cousin, and I shared with him that the only thing that can get under my skin is being told I am not good at my job because I see it as a threat to my source of livelihood and if genuinely done, I see it as a push to improve myself.
