Olabanji Joel, A BUHARIST

Still on my ground and my position as regards the issues in the country. Like I have always said, the failings of this past Government has led us into this present state BECAUSE IN SEARCH OF SOLUTION TO THE PROBLEMS THEY(PDP) CAUSED, WE FOUND OURSELVES A GREATER PROBLEM(APC). Due to my statements and writings I have been tackled by people of the two leading political parties (APC & PDP). Just few hours ago, I was called a Buharist by someone and I love it because it actually shows that my ground and position still remains intact. As a Buharist, I won't directly blame "BUBU" for his inadequacies but instead, I would blame the FUTILE leadership of PDP for 16years. Futile in what way?? Had it been that the 16years of PDP leadership brought about stable electricity, Good roads, increased standard of living and reduced cost of living for everyone, reduced poverty rate, improved and world class health care facilities, normal fuel price, affordable education for all despite the background, availability of employment for majority of the graduates even if not all, absence of corruption, proper leadership in all sectors and spheres of the Government, proper Governance and security, there's no way the citizens would have voted for DICTATOR BUHARI. Once again, THE FAILINGS OF THE PAST ADMINISTRATION HAS CAUSED NIGERIANS MORE PAINS THAN WE BARGAINED FOR with PMB BEING THE MAJOR PAIN. Out of the Hunger and frustration for a better nation, a person who has contested and lost 3times was elected the fourth (4th) time. Let's think about it, why wasn't he elected in his first, second and third attempt if truly he is the solution to the country's problem? Therefore, it clearly evident with my explanation that it was out of frustration that Buhari was elected in his fourth time of contesting which was made possible due to the failings of PDP's 16years in power. In conclusion, I write not to directly criticize Buhari for his failings but to condemn the failings of those who frustrated the faithful Nigerians to voting for an irresponsible man with history of irresponsibility. In my three years of marriage and what I have seen of marriages around me, I have come to realize that every day is an opportunity to celebrate love, foster understanding, practice forgiveness, and make sacrifices. Contrary to the notion that all you need for a successful marriage is love, I have learned that it takes intentional effort and investment from both partners. Sacrifices and forgiveness are just as crucial as love in making a marriage last, peaceful, and happy. Yesterday, I discharged a very demanding patient home. As she was about to leave the ward with her daughter, she called me over for a hug and expressed her gratitude. She told her daughter that I was a good nurse and was happy that I was part of her care team throughout her hospital stay. This gesture hit me differently, and it motivated me to do even more for my patients. As an adult with family responsibilities, I have come to realize that my profession is not just a job but a source of sustenance. I have learned to prioritize my role as a nurse above every thing I was actively doing before having a family, and the appreciation from patients like this one means a lot to me. Recently, I had a conversation with my cousin, and I shared with him that the only thing that can get under my skin is being told I am not good at my job because I see it as a threat to my source of livelihood and if genuinely done, I see it as a push to improve myself.
