ABOUT MY PEN DOING THE TALKING
I have not written for 3 days now despite the happenings in the country and this has made me to be unease. Why?! Simply because if a person like me decides to stop talking today, what about many lives and many generations that will be affected? So should I act like all is well in this sinking country just because I want to save myself and protect my life? The creator of the people I have been made to touch will never forgive me if I drop my pen today.
If I drop my pen today, I am not different from those I have said to be irresponsible because because bigger responsibilities and challenges follows this kind of pen I have decided to pick.
In the consistency with my pen I get closer to the destination. It's for you to decide on what to do with my writings, either to call for a change of attitude amongst our political leaders and leaders in all spheres of life or do otherwise.
One thing is sure and certain, this country is not working and what will the future be for the youths and the coming generations. If you feel the country is working, wait till you get attacked or burgled by the hungry people.
Olabanji Joel said he doesn't have dream for himself but a dream for others because what is life when you are successful but can't live in peace because of the unpredictable outpour of the hungry ones? 😔 😔 😔.
It's known by the wise ones that our today's action determines what our tomorrow will be but in the case of my country "Nigeria" we only think about today, even the tomorrow won't be for the coming generation but for selfish interest.
The corruption in all areas has affected us all and eaten too deep into the system such that when no one believes a man who has proven not to be corrupt.
For writing, DSS, SARS etc have been arresting people everywhere and we feel it's normal because they control the power now, but will they be in power forever? Who is certain that when he sleeps, he will wake up the following day? So why all the actions that keeps TODAY but doesn't guarantee a TOMORROW?
From a very deep thought I have written this this morning, the next write up won't be nice as it will major on what's wrong and celebrate what's right if need be.
I am Olabanji Joel, I believe in what's right and that is why I said "A man who can't be a leader in his house is not worth ruling a group of 20 not to talk of a Nation" because leadership and adequate training start from the family.
THERE ARE NATIONS TO TOUCH SO IT'S NOT TIME TO RELENT, THE WORLD WILL FEEL THE IMPACT OF A MORALLY SOUND AND RESPONSIBLE SOCIETY AND THAT IS THE AIM.
Thanks
I am Olabanji Joel.......
