PRESIDENT IN SHOCK; Nigeria in consternation, Nigeria must work again by Olabanji Joel

This write up is directed to the masses, we are the custodian of our future, the hunger we are experiencing today should anger our spirit and body to choosing a better leader who can give us the kind of country we want

The negative occurrences in Nigeria isn't a news to anyone anymore, the only thing that can amaze a Nigerian that has been following the daily happenings is a positive development across the nation but it bothers me seeing the shock expressions of our number one citizen, president dismayed over the happenings sounds like he has not been in the system, probably he has been getting updates about other countries and not his.
Our president's expression of shock is a pointer to why the country's growth has been retrogressive. A president in shock is the same as an appalled country. The incapability which has been displayed by our president over the years has aroused the question about the person truly in power, "is it the man whom the masses believed would make Nigeria work again or another man?" This question didn't come from a political group but the citizens who had their hope of having a better country truncated, the common man.
I understand when the loyalists to the president defend the man that has displayed signs of unconsciousness despite being conscious, I don't expect those feeding from incompetency to speak against it, a targeted goal towards infrastructure development cannot be done by people with gaze on stomach development and this has made me not to expect anything good from people like that.
Reiterating the shortcomings of our president in relation to being oblivious to the happenings in the nation won't be a bad thing to do, his incompetencies has caused us lives of many civilians and military men. The mistake of re-electing the man in coma has been done but it must not be repeated, we shouldn't allow a person known for his uninvestigated numerous crimes to lead us again, we must not make the same mistake of missing it.  The aim now should be that we survive this turbulence period, stay strong while we make a decision to vote out rogues and vote in people who can be trusted with power. We can't do anything about the leader in coma for he can hear our cries but can't lift his hand or say anything to ease the cries, so we will live a palliative period till 2023 when we will be given another opportunity to decide our future. So are we ignorantly going to vote in another comatose individual or a fully living person?
Many years have been wasted on recycling of rogues who acquires huge wealth for themselves at the expense of the masses and thereby gives several excuses for failing us. We have been recycling failures and excuses for years, the reality to liberating the country lies in our decision.
This write up is directed to the masses, we are the custodian of our future, the hunger we are experiencing today should anger our spirit and body to choosing a better leader who can give us the kind of country we want. Never should we allow the political inflicted hunger make us vote in dream killers in 2023, we are tired of having a self acclaimed righteous being with surrounding evidences of unrighteousness. Nigeria must work again.
