FEMI FANI KAYODE'S DISPLAY OF WHO HE IS - An eye opener by Olabanji Joel.

Journalism that I know is a respecter of no man and all those in power should know this. The self paraded voice of the poor has revealed his true person and I hope even his followers would get to know the kind of person they have been following. 

Femi Fani Kayode is known for his constant brag of being in politics since 1990 but he is now known for boasting with achievements because there is virtually no achievement to boast of, rather self made money through corruption is what he can point at as achievement.

"They come to us portraying themselves as innocents, seeking to be elected, claiming they want to make lives better, making so many promises but what do we get after getting them elected? We see pride being displayed, public funds being spent for personal development, gallivanting to be successful and seeking for respect from those who elected them. Their true person get revealed to the world when they get hold of power, they act like demi gods and forget all their initial promises. However, they turned back to the public after losing power, they tend to seek recognition through various means and this makes them capitalise on the present situation which have always been existence even when they were there, they suddenly become human right fighters but the true fighters are always known and respected while those who gate crashed due to loss of power and position will be exposed by their pride and exact intention".

The video which exposed the the true FFK also showed us the journalist who was begging and acting guilty for being lambasted for dutifully asking a question, then I say to myself, WHAT IS JOURNALISM? During the course of searching for an answer to what journalism is, I realised that the work of a journalist, his personality and his dealings are sure characteristics that determine his effectiveness. A video of Omoyele Sowore interviewing a minister surfaced and the firmness/boldness at which he responded is one to be emulated in our journalism but only a clean journalist would do that.

Back to the former minister of aviation with a short fuse, he on his Facebook page withdrew the word "stupid" which he used while verbally assaulting the journalist but he never apologized because he feels too big to apologize, he feels the journalist should be the one to apologize and this is what I call "IRRESPONSIBILITY". The former minister which is known for speaking against Buhari and their act of irresponsibly have also shown that he is the same as them and not in any way better, this is who he is and would have done worse than PMB if he had been in the presidency.

Conclusively, any member of the PDP parading himself or herself as a human right activist is surely doing so because of the agony he/she is passing through follow the end of their 16years unyielding time in power. Also, any APC member telling you PDP is bad is only doing so to safeguard his stomach-infrastructure, not because they genuinely identify the pains of the masses.

If we don't cause a massive revolution movement, we should expect more from the likes of Femi Fani Kayode. Thanks.

Yesterday, I discharged a very demanding patient home. As she was about to leave the ward with her daughter, she called me over for a hug and expressed her gratitude. She told her daughter that I was a good nurse and was happy that I was part of her care team throughout her hospital stay. This gesture hit me differently, and it motivated me to do even more for my patients. As an adult with family responsibilities, I have come to realize that my profession is not just a job but a source of sustenance.
