VALENTINE- LOVE AND BE LOVED

It's Valentine's day, a day to celebrate love and not sex or any other thing as it means to many. It is a day to celebrate all loved ones.

Talking about love, love is a good thing and you will appreciate it more when you have the right persons attached to you, when you have a good family, home, friends, partner etc.
Having someone who have your back always, having someone who shares your burden with you, having someone you can intellectually interact with, having someone whom intimacy cannot be traded with another, having someone that has shown sacrificial love for you over time i.e parent(s), having someone that has built a foundation at which you can easily build your journey of life on (Parents/Guardians) and having friends who have shown immeasurable love towards you when it wasn't comfortable for them, friends who give their all to protect your interest and ensure you succeed in that which you call your passion. I tell you, if you have all that has been listed above you are a lucky person and if you have at least one too please be grateful because you have experienced true love.



Love is a two way thing, you show love to others and also experience being loved by others, this is a complete kind of love, it is not a compulsion that the person you love loves you back but it is a compulsion that you show love to those around you even if they act otherwise.

In romantic relationships, as much as you love your partner please profess this to him/her always and also back it up with actions that supports your profess. Love is sacrificial and in love there are/is pain(s) but the experiential knowledge of true love serves as lubricant when friction begins in the relationship. LOVE IS SWEET WHEN YOU ARE WITH THE RIGHT PERSON/PEOPLE.

Don't be a witch, if you want to be loved then show love to others, do unto others how you wish to be treated, be pure and genuine in your doings, don't be hypocritical in your ways and don't have a selfish mentality, this life is give and take.

Today I celebrate all those who have supported me through the journey of life, I have on many occasions enjoyed sacrificial kinds of love starting from all I have received from my parents, Engr. Orolugbagbe Julius Olayiwola and Mrs Orolugbagbe Caroline, I was brought up in love and it has given me a foundation to build upon. Furthermore, I have been surrounded by wonderful persons, people who make me boast of not being alone, I have been made to understand through their actions that I can't be stranded, all because I am blessed with men. I LOVE YOU ALL FOR BEING SUPPORTIVE TO THE GROWTH AND BETTERMENT OF OLABANJI JOEL, I am forever grateful for that which you have done in time past, let's spread more love as we walk through this path of life.

In my three years of marriage and what I have seen of marriages around me, I have come to realize that every day is an opportunity to celebrate love, foster understanding, practice forgiveness, and make sacrifices. PRIORITIZING WHAT MATTERS by Olabanji Joel Orolugbagbe

Yesterday, I discharged a very demanding patient home. As she was about to leave the ward with her daughter, she called me over for a hug and expressed her gratitude. She told her daughter that I was a good nurse and was happy that I was part of her care team throughout her hospital stay. This gesture hit me differently, and it motivated me to do even more for my patients. As an adult with family responsibilities, I have come to realize that my profession is not just a job but a source of sustenance. I have learned to prioritize my role as a nurse above every thing I was actively doing before having a family, and the appreciation from patients like this one means a lot to me.
