Part 2 BABA IJESA'S SEXUAL ASSAULT CASE; Princess's role over the period of seven years. By Olabanji Joel


INTRODUCTION- If you seek true justice for the sexually assaulted minor, give a space for some vital questions to be answered and broader explanations to be made and if you want the case to be handled just by the statements made by Princess and evidences provided without more investigation then you don't mean the true justice you seek.



While on one hand, it has been established that Baba Ijesa is guilty of child molestation as we all can evidently see in the CCTV video recording which has been released to the media, he will face the law and be punished for his crime duly as said by the Lagos state commissioner of police.

On the other hand, there are sensitive questions which requires answers for true justice to be gotten for the poor girl which was molested. Should I start with the child being used as a bait to capture the pedophile which has resulted in child pornography or should I start with what happened when the girl was molested at seven and what has been happening between the period she was 7years to the period she clocked 14years?

Okay, in a recent interview with TVC during Your View show, Princess who happens to be the foster mother of the victim claimed the girl was defiled by Baba Ijesa. While narrating the incidence, she said when the girl was seven, Baba Ijesa raped her by pulling down the underwear of the little girl, told her to ride him and after the act cleaned her up with a handkerchief as the lady was wet with his semen. She talked about how the process went claiming this happened within a period of 3-4minutes when she saw some people off. If rape truly happened during that short time it would have surely been a forceful penetration and no way this would have gone unnoticed by Princess. 



A forceful penetration of a 7year old girl by a 41year old man would have caused severe damage to the girl's private part, there would have been severe bleeding, physical defect would have been noticed, distorted mental state of the girl would have been noticed over time. IF TRULY SHE WAS RAPED, when did princess got to know? What was the action she took after she knew? Why did it take her seven years before using the same girl as a bait for Baba Ijesa and also seven years before reporting the case to the police? Or was there a deliberate cover up of the incident by Princess? If YES, she is also an accomplice and a rape apologist, if NO, then she need to explain when she knew and what prompted her to setting Baba Ijesa up in other to get a video of him in action molesting the minor.



My take on this: If the rape truly happened when the lady was seven years, Princess would have known but decided to cover up the rape case probably because things were good between herself and baba Ijesa but now had to set him up probably because the going goes bad and she needed to deal with Baba Ijesa and she knew what he would do if left alone with the girl. An evidence is needed to expose his disgustful act so as to deal with him as this is what is often required during any criminal investigation. In most of Princess talks, she skipped what happened between the period the girl was raped seven years till when she got to 14years of age. She said she asked the girl back then but couldn't get an answer until the girl started failing in school, it was the report of her failure in school that made her to know that she was molested by Baba Ijesa who at this time had been avoiding her but from the video of the molestation which was released, I feel Baba Ijesa has been engaging the girl in the ridiculous act for over a while now, his quick grip on the girl after princess had left them alone and the innocent girl reaction during the immoral act shows he is not just coming back to do it after 7years but probably being covered up by the girl's guardian over a period of time due to whatever relationship she had with Baba Ijesa. The relationship probably got bad along the way and she had to expose his dirty act. Both Baba Ijesa and Princess should be thoroughly investigated and prosecuted for what they have made the young girl to pass through.


#Note: The disgusting act by Baba Ijesa would have been exposed and stopped if Princess had reported him when the girl was initially raped at seven, medical check up would have been done to ascertain If she was raped and adequate punishment would have been meted out to Baba Ijesa at that early stage. The little girl wouldn't have been made to go through the trauma over and over again as she has been made to but someone's silence caused her reoccurance molestation which is believed to having a more dangerous effect on the child's mental and physical health.

Let me quickly say I believe there is more to this case, Princess claimed in several of her videos that Baba Ijesa sleeps in a house which even her dogs won't stay in but this ongoing case has made the man to lose his yearly endorsement deal which was said to worth #15,000,000 (fifteen million naira), so will a person with an endorsement deal of #15M yearly truly live in a tattered house? If he truly stays there then his mental status should be assessed at a neuropsychiatric hospital. Her claim of him living in penury has indirectly debunked the endorsement deal(s) he has lost due to this case. Princess has made a lot of statements and it's from these her words and evidences available that the case will be analysed until Baba Ijesa makes his own statement.



In conclusion, I seek for thorough investigation on this case for justice to prevail so that all those in the know of this act from the onset but decided to be mute about it be exposed and duly punished. I believe there is more to this case which everyone of us for the sake of the abused child shouldn't turn blind eyes to, if truly we seek justice, everything hidden about the case must be made opened and all perpetrators of evil get deserved punishment without emotions.

NOTE II: Any form of immoral act such as Rape, Indecent touching, sex trafficking etc is wrong and is termed sexual assault therefore, Baba Ijesa is guilty of sexually assaulting a minor and he is presently being detained awaiting trial for his devilish act.



NOTE III: If further questions are not asked for clarification, the case remains incompletely solved and due justice averted.
