JUSTICE IS NOT DEAD, JUSTICE LIVES ON: WHO ORDERED THE SHOOTING AT LEKKI TILLGATE NIGERIA by Olabanji Joel

October 1st 1960 the country called Nigeria got her independence and in the same October but a different year "2020", the youths of the country unanimously without a known leader rose against oppression, suffering, intimidation, bad governance, corruption and many more. On 20th October 2020, the youths of the country gained their independence. They came together putting aside all ethnic and religious differences to speak up against police brutality and other inadequacies of the government.

ON THIS DAY, WE REMEMBER OUR FALLEN HEROES

Nigeria is a country long due for revolution from the rogues in power that we call our leaders. They have looted the fortunes of the country and are now borrowing with the future fortunes without obvious development in the country. Corruption, killings, bad governance, intimidation by security officers who are meant to protect the citizens have become the order of the day but with a protest that started as a means to speak up against police brutality, the youths came out with all their pains and issues which has been burning on their mind. However, the peaceful march by the youths was ended by gruesome killing of unarmed boys and girls who were spotted singing the national anthem with the country's flag raised. They were no criminals!

On this day,  a sad memorable event was created by the government of Buhari, the commander in chief who ordered the killing of harmless citizens because of his quest to keep power to himself. The saw the agitation for a good governance and a end to police brutality as a movement to displace him off his seat eventually leading to loss of life and properties. The blood of the innocents which was spilled is yet to get justice, the blood of the dead cries daily for justice, justice is sitting at a corner waiting for the perfect time to strike. The youths have no hope of seeing justice prevail, the Murderous administration thinks justice died with the youths but justice awaits the perfect time and day to strike, to return hope to the troubled and to mock the foolishness of men who think justice is dead.

October 20th 2020 is a day in the history of Nigeria, the month the youths woke up, the month unison strengthened the youths and the months the elites were afraid of what might possibly end their corruptible reign, the elites were afraid of liberation and freedom for the poor, those with weapons were afraid of knowledge and power of the youths, the end to intimidation and the end to their corruptible drain from the youths. Ooooooh

WHO ORDERED THE SHOOTING AT LEKKI TOLLGATE?!

This is a question on the lips of many after the massacre at lekki toll gate but unfortunately did not last 3 months before it was dropped despite it being unanswered.

However, we all know that the Commander in Chief is the only one who can give such order. The commander in chief in person of President Mohammadu Buhari ordered the shooting at Lekki Tollgate on this same day but this same commander has been a protector of his brothers from the North who are Bandits and Terrorists. Instead of using his power as the commander in chief to wipe out Bandits from the forests in the country and wipe out Terrorists, he has been using the power to enforce tyranny in the country and manhandling peaceful protesters.

IN NIGERIA UNDER PRESIDENT MOHAMMADU BUHARI, Terrorists are being treated as kings while peaceful protesters are being arrested illegally and killed. Is the support of this government to Bandits and Terrorists an hidden thing, NO! The government has given Bandits and Terrorists terrorizing the peace of the nation billions all in the name of ransom payment. They now buy equipment of war for the criminals in the name of getting them for the soldiers. Most of the ammunition being used by the terrorists today end up coming from the government, the government has been their main sponsor.

20TH OCTOBER 2021 WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN

IT WILL FOREVER BE REMEMBERED AS A DAY YOUTHS WERE KILLED BY THE GOVERNMENT MEANT TO PROTECT THEM

THE DAY THE NATIONAL FLAG WAS STAINED WITH INNOCENT BLOOD

THE DAY THE COUNTRY WAS TORN APART

 THE DAY LIBERATION WAS BIRTHED.

Congratulations to President Mohammadu Buhari on his time in office, his disgrace and justice soonest.

Yesterday, I discharged a very demanding patient home. As she was about to leave the ward with her daughter, she called me over for a hug and expressed her gratitude. She told her daughter that I was a good nurse and was happy that I was part of her care team throughout her hospital stay. This gesture hit me differently, and it motivated me to do even more for my patients. As an adult with family responsibilities, I have come to realize that my profession is not just a job but a source of sustenance. I have learned to prioritize my role as a nurse above every thing I was actively doing before having a family, and the appreciation from patients like this one means a lot to me.
